What the site itself collects
The site has one form, on the Contact page, and it asks for what we need to quote. What you type into it goes by email to our sales inbox. The website itself keeps no copy of it: there is no database behind this site, no account and no cart. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps the ordinary server log of each request: the IP address, the time, the page requested and the browser string. Those logs exist to keep the site up and to stop abuse. We do not use them for marketing.
Measurement
The site runs Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views, referring sites and country. It sets no cookie, and Cloudflare states that it does not fingerprint visitors or follow them across other sites. It is the only measurement on the site, and there is no advertising network on it.
Cookies
The site sets no cookie of its own. Cloudflare may set one to tell a person from automated traffic when its security is triggered.
What you send us
When you write, call or use the form, you decide what to send. Usually that is a name, a company, an email address, a telephone number, where the goods have to land and a description of them. We use it to quote, to ship and to keep the records a sale generates. We do not sell it. We pass it only to the parties an order needs: the carrier, the supplier of the goods, our bank, and customs authorities where a shipment requires it.
Payments
No payment is taken on this website. There is no cart and no checkout, and no card number is ever entered here. Payment instructions go out with the invoice.
How long we keep it
Correspondence and quotations are kept while we may still need them to answer a question about an order. Records of a completed sale and of an export are kept for the period United States tax and export recordkeeping rules require.
Your requests
Write to sales@uniteddistributiongroupllc.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We answer within thirty days. That is also the route for a request under California, United Kingdom or European Union law. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Where the data sits
We are a United States company and the records are held in the United States. If you write to us from outside the United States, that is where your message lands.
Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
This page carries the date it took effect. If the page changes, the date changes with it.
